Kalfin FM and Deputy PM Bulgaria visits India

Bulgaria's Foreign Minister and Deputy PM, Ivailo Kalfin today gave presentation of opportunities for investors in Bulgaria an opporunity in present world financial crisis. Kalfin presentation before seventy businessmen from the Federation of the Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) on an official visit to India. Indian businessmen insisted on the opening of a direct airline between Sofia and Delhi and on updating of agreements between the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the FICCI.
Bulgarian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ivaylo Kalfin is on official visit to India according to an invitation by Pranab Mukherjee, India's Minister of External Affairs, Monday 02 March 2009:

Ivaylo Kalfin will sign two agreement between the two governments about the removal of visas regime for the owners of diplomatic and working passports; and a Program for Co-operation in the Sphere
of Science, Education and Culture between 2009 and 2011.

Bulgarian Minister presented business and investment possibilities to which Indian business shown keen interest in importing woods agricultural products and machinery.Bulgaria with stable economy with surplus energy and budget surplus of 38% member EU NATO and WTO having GDP growth of 6.5% in 2008.
Bulgaria lies at the centre of South eastern Europe with access to maket of 560 million consumers in Turkey Greece Macedonia Kosva Israel.
