First of all Pilibhit in U.P which is nearer to Nepal border and there is an unabated theft of cattles being smuggled out from Pilibhit for slaughter houses which caused more heart burns among hindu voters. Reports of raping Hindu women by minorities rising.It is to be noted that Pilibhit has nearly 30% of muslim voters and the influence of (samajwadi party to field as a candidate for this elections) Riyaz Ahmed who won earlier in 1983 UP assembly elections as a candidate of late Sanjay Gandhi’s Sanjay Vichar Manch.
