Vote Congress on perfomance was his theme,In his address at a public meeting in West Delhi, the Prime Minister said due to the efforts of the Congress-led UPA government, agricultural growth doubled while industrial growth also grew by one and a half times."If the UPA is given another chance by the electorate, then we will continue the good work and complete our unfinished tasks," he said, adding that there are several challenges that lie ahead like poverty alleviation, infrastructure development and malnutrition.


PM Dr Singh On the highlighting the work done by the Congress-led Delhi government, Dr Singh said that the party has increased the Delhi development plan to Rs 10,000 crore from Rs 5,000 crore."Two Delhi Metro corridors have been completed while work on four corridors is on," he said.Singh further added that a new campus of Guru Govind Singh University is coming up, while the National Law University is being set up in Dwarka.

Listing other achievements of the Delhi government, he said two water treatment plants were coming up in the city, while more low floor buses would be added in the DTC fleet.
