Crompton Greaves Open 2010

Mumbai, December 7, 2010: Crompton Greaves Ltd., part of the US$ 4 bn Avantha Group, and Aircel-Professional Golf Tour of India (PGTI) today announced the schedule for Crompton Greaves Open 2010. The tournament, which boasts a prize money of Rs.8 million, will be staged at Bombay Presidency Golf Club, Mumbai, from December 08 - 11. The Pro-Am event will be played on December 12.

The star-studded field features some of India ’s top professionals, including Manav Jaini, C Muniyappa, Ashok Kumar, Mukesh Kumar, Vijay Kumar, Shamin Khan, Shankar das, Raju Ali Mollah, Chiragh Kumar, Sujjan Singh, Gaurav Pratap Singh, Vishal Singh, Gurki Shergill, Harmeet Kahlon, Gaurav Ghei, Amandeep Johl and Digvijay Singh.Mr. Sudhir Mohan Trehan, Managing Director, Crompton Greaves, said, “We are delighted to host this tournament. We are confident that Crompton Greaves Open 2010 will offer some of the best golfing action. My best wishes to all the players.”
