NSIC Signs MoU with MSME
The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for the year 2011-12 was signed in the presence of Shri Virbhadra Singh, Union Minister of MSME between Shri Uday Kumar Varma, Secretary, MSME, and Dr. H.P Kumar, CMD, NSIC. The MoU lays the road map for NSIC to render all round services for the MSMEs in the country. It also carries the approval of the Task force established by Department of Public Enterprise (DPE), Ministry of Heavy Industries & Public Enterprises. The targets for 2011-12 have been set at a higher level than what the corporation has achieved during 2010-11. It may be mentioned that NSIC due to sustained growth in its performance has been achieving “Excellent Rating” in terms of its parameters.
Present during on the occasion were Shri Amarendra Sinha, Joint Secretary, MSME, Shri R.K. Manchanda, Economic Advisor, MSME, and other officers of the Ministry and NSIC.
