Four-day long Biodiversity Film Festival will be organised in the capital from June 1-4, 2011 by the Ministry of Environment and Forests (MoEF) and CMS Environment on the occasion of World Environment Day 2011.
Film screenings will be organsied at PVR Plaza , National Science Centre, Tihar jail, Airforce auditorium Subroto Park and ITBP camp at Tughlaqabad. The film festival will be inaugurated at PVR Plaza on June 2 at 05:30 pm. Eminent wildlife director Naresh Bedi’s film “Project Tiger: Ensuring Survival” will be premiered in the inaugural ceremony. UNEP report on ‘Global Survey on Sustainable Lifestyles-Vision for Change’ will also be released during the inaugural programme.
