Invitation to participate in the two-day “Workshop for Media and CSOs on Sustainable Urban Transport” on Aug 29-30 (Thu-Fri), IHC, New Delhi
I am happy to share with you about an upcoming Workshop and Open Forum for media and CSOs onSustainable Urban Transport issues. To be organised on Aug 29-30, at India Habitat Centre, New Delhi, the workshop is open for journalists, CSOs, research institutions, environment advocacy groups and govt institutions. 
The workshop has been planned by CMSR Consultants, in association with Shakti Sustainable Energy Foundation (SSEF), The Energy and Resources Institute (TERI) and International Council on Clean Transportation (ICCT).   
Objective: Through this workshop and Open Forum we would like to bring together media and CSOs (working on issues such as urban transport, air pollution, NMT, urban planning etc) to enhance  their understanding on various issues related to urban transport including fuel efficiency, emission standards, auto fuel policy in the country, poor air quality and its impact on health. It will also act as a forum to discuss how these issues can be reported in a better way in media and also, how to advocate them further at local as well state and regional level.
