Dear Friend,

I hope you had a chance to read my email below.

Thanks to caring supporters like you, 70 Romanian bears are free and now able to live as bears. But we still need you to help free the remaining estimated 15 illegally captive Romanian bears.

Give the gift of freedom to illegally captive Romanian bears and the gift of a cruelty-free world to animals across the globe. Please make your most generous gift today.

Thank you,

Dear Friend,

Bear-s-banner
Holidays are for warmth and togetherness. Yet for bears held captive illegally in Romania, they're a time for despair. These bears pace relentlessly in tiny cages alone, freezing and hungry.

Romanian bears have been captured illegally, stolen as cubs and sold for private or commercial use. Some have even seen their own mothers brutally murdered.

Confined in metal cages with damp floors that can cause paw deformity and arthritis, these bears are tormented, often existing without shelter from harsh weather and suffering from malnutrition. After many years in these brutal conditions, many bears resort to abnormal behavior that includes chewing metal bars - their only way of coping.

Last year, your kind support allowed us to complete the final enclosure of the Zarnesti Bear Sanctuary, providing a natural home for 70 Romanian bears that you helped free.

Gheorge and Doru (the last two remaining bears rescued from the closed Onesti Zoo), along with other bears you helped rescue, are now free to live as nature intended.
Thanks to helpful donors like you - these bears now have a life far from the prison-like cages they once knew.

Please make an urgent donation today to help illegally captive Romanian bears and other animals across the globe. We can't do it without you.
